Reach Drive

The ReachDrive was developed as a solution to a very specific marketing problem faced by every brick and mortar retailer: the challenge to obtain reliable contact information from customers using cash, debit cards or gift cards as a method of payment. The ReachDrive overcomes this problem by providing retailers with an innovative way to solicit and obtain contact information willingly, and more reliably. It is an inexpensive USB key that can be handed out to customers in at least three situations:

  • Customers want to participate in your loyalty program, or be on your mailing list, but they are reluctant to provide their personal information to an unknown cashier, or while other customers are nearby;

In all three of these situations and many others (on the sales floor, checking in or out of dressing rooms etc…), sales associates would hand out ReachDrives to your customers. Back at home or whenever convenient to them, your customers will insert their ReachDrive into their computer connected to the Internet. The ReachDrive will then:

  • Automatically open the default web browser and navigate to your secure landing page;
  • Customers can then enter their contact information in the convenience, comfort, and security of their home or office.

The ReachDrive has several important characteristics that make it a must have in your efforts to build a comprehensive list of retail shoppers:

  • The ReachDrive results in higher usage rate than conventional approaches (for example, placing a card in the shopping bag, referencing a web address customers should visit:
    • It is a tangible hand out that has intrinsic value;
    • It plays on the inquisitive nature of the mind, which will want to know what is on the drive, or what happens when you plug it in;
    • Customers can then hand the ReachDrive down to their family and friends who in turn submit their information.
  • The ReachDrive does all the work. Customers just sit back and enter their information.
  • The information collected is more accurate because customers enter it themselves. This results in a much more accurate and usable list than when captured at the Point of Sale.
